We started our studio in a house built around a mango-tree in 1991. Since then we have been designing, making, and selling handcrafted textiles with timeless design and uncompromising integrity. These textiles are made thoughtfully, honestly, and with pride - to be enjoyed with similar intention.
Transparent and honest with nothing to hide and everything to celebrate - we make products, in our community. In a human-scale factory, blending hand and machine. Human-scale means we’re grounded and relatable, neither too big nor too small. It means we celebrate process, material and the people and places behind the products we make. This reminds us that we’re human and maintaining humanity means a great deal to us. Across two factories, one design studio, a warehouse, all in India, we’re a diverse team of about 150 employees, on a mission: to create products of beauty and integrity, while designing, manufacturing, and running our business in a way that’s better for society and our planet.
